Privacy policy
Your data stays yours.

The short version: the Revlur extension collects nothing. This website collects one thing, and only if you choose to give it: the email address you enter to join the waitlist.
The Revlur extension
Revlur has no accounts, no analytics and no servers. It never sends anything anywhere.
- What it does on your device. When you click the Revlur icon or use its shortcut, Revlur draws an overlay (the blur, the selection outline and a small toolbar) on the page you are viewing. It runs only on the page you activated it on.
- Zoom. When you press Zoom, Revlur takes a snapshot of the visible part of that tab and shows part of it enlarged. The snapshot stays in your browser's memory on your computer and is discarded when you close the zoomed view or leave Revlur.
- Copy and Save. If you press Copy, the image is written to your clipboard. If you press Save, it is downloaded to your computer. Revlur never reads your clipboard and never uploads anything.
- What it remembers. One setting, your blur level, is saved with Chrome's extension storage on your own device.
- Permissions. Revlur uses the
activeTab,scriptingandstoragepermissions only for the purposes above. It asks for no access to websites in advance and does not run on pages you have not activated it on.
This website and the waitlist
- What we collect. If you join the waitlist, the email address you type. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and loads no fonts or code from other sites. Like any website, it is delivered through hosting and network providers (Cloudflare and Railway), which process ordinary connection data such as IP addresses in order to serve the pages. We do not use that data.
- How it is sent. The form sends your address to Web3Forms, a form service, which delivers it to our inbox. Web3Forms handles the submission under its own privacy policy. We do not keep your address in a database or any other system.
- What we use it for. To email you once, when Revlur is live in the Chrome Web Store. We do not sell or share your address, and we do not use it for anything else.
- How long we keep it. Until we have sent the launch announcement. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your email address, or to tell you whether we hold it, by writing to the address below. You do not need to give a reason.
Children
Revlur and this website are not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If the extension ever collects data, this policy will say so before that release.
